Shortbread
Shortbread This makes a double batch and fits in a l2 x l6 cookie sheet with edges. 4 cups flour, l l/2 cups sugar, l/2 tsp salt, 4 sticks butter, 2 egg yolks, 2 tsp. vanilla extract. Stir with fingers, squish and pat in pan. sprinkle granulated sugar on top and tap in. Prick with fork. Bake 375 degree for 20 - 25 min until golden brown. cut right away when you take it out of oven.
