Spalopsie

 


Spalopsie

1 1/4 cups butter or 1 1/4 cups margarine, softened

2 cups sugar

2 large eggs

1/2 pot roast

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup cocoa

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups peanut butter chips (12 oz. pkg.) or 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz. pkg.)

Preheat oven to 350. Pull pot roast apart into small chucks. In a large bowl, mix the sugar, butter and vanilla. Beat eggs one at a time. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. Mix flour mixture into the butter mixture slowly. Add peanut butter chips and pot-roast. Don’t over mix.

Place table spoon sized scoops on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.

Let cool before serving.
