Mullets are Champs
The road to last
night started over 2 years ago when I started at the Focal and played some
coed softball. As the past couple of years have slid past us, season after
season Team Mullet grown into what you saw last nite - champs. I think the
league we played in was supposed to be "competitive." But no one
could touch us. I haven't see offense like that since the Rams Super Bowl
Team. I haven't seen that much dominance since the Bulls dynasty. I want
to say thanks for everyone's great play and attitude this season and especially
note:
Schalk: with as many injuries suffered this spring as I have hairs on my soul patch - thanks for taking one for the team and playing wherever Z needed ya. Batt: I don't know what I like better - your socks or how great of a pitcher you have become. Nate: his bat last night makes it tough as hell to be batting him 9th or 10th in the lineup. and Nate's hair makes me cream. Roy: one of the best things I think for Team Mullet this year was finally moving Roy to 3rd. He did great there. And his colorful outfits this season shows the fans the true meaning of the Mullet. Ed: what can I say? solid offense and defense all year. I know I make the lineup and send out the emails but we all know who the Coach is - Coach Ed. Roman: I like Roman. He is a great buddy of mine. I am glad we got to share this experience together. Joe Hube: Joey stepped it up late in the season and got his bat out of his ass. Also he had real solid D, especially at first base. Joe has come a long way since we played little league together. Jeremy: he is a damn good player all around. I am huge fan of punch the Mullets have in the lineup when we have John, Jeremy, and Buck back to back to back. Vidos: I have no words to describe The Screwer's impact on all of us. Last nite was icing on the cake when he stepped up to the plate with his busted rib to rip a hit into left field. Why play injured. Vidos, "I wanted to say I got a hit in the Mullet championship win" Jason: Jason was a great pick up for the Mullets. When he wasn't getting kicked out of games, bitchin at the umps, or telling Team Mullet defense where to position themselves - J could play some ball. I am gonna miss Jason this Summer. Buck: "eeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnhhhhhhhhhhhhh" I hope we hear that grunt a lot more this Summer. Great season guys. Lets repeat this Summer. Lets 3-peat this Fall. http://funslice.punkpal.com go team mullet,
