When were you born? Where?

December 21, 1972  Rockford, Illinois

What is the 1st thing you want to do when you get home from work or when you wake up on the weekends?

Hang out with Grace and Paige. Have a nice dinner (after work) or have a big breakfast (on the weekend)

Who would you like to pattern yourself after?

Tough question. I think I would like to have been an explorer somebody like either Lewis or Clark. Lewis went crazy after the expedition and killed himself, so  I would probably prefer to model after Clark. To be able to go out into an untouched and unknown area of the world would be great.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

Italy. Paige and I were there for our Honeymoon and we had a great time. To be more specific I would say the Cinque Terre region of Italy along the northern Mediterranean Coast.

If you could get paid the same amount of $ at your current job and do anything, what would it be?

I would become a professional photographer. Not photojournalism or anything like that, I would take landscapes and do studio work.

If you found $200 in the trash and you had to spend it that day, what would you do with it?

I would probably go and restock my fly tying supplies. I am a huge fly fisherman and I tye my own flies. Supplies get a little pricey, but $200 would probably cover almost the next year for me (and my Dad too. I usually keep him well stocked).

What kind of music you like the most and why?

I have Punk roots so I would say Punk, but what is punk anyway? I listen to everything from Classical to rock. I am not a huge Rap or Country fan. Besides those two, anything goes.

Who have you been most influenced by and why?

My parents. I think the same goes for most everyone though. They raised me and taught me a lot about life, Both good and bad (not a lot of bad). Dad influenced a lot of my Hobbies such as skiing and fishing. For the most part I have to say I thank them everyday.

What makes you cry?

It's a Wonderful Life and Saving Private Ryan. I have never made it through either of these movies without crying.

What is your favorite town or state in the United States?

My current home towm of Louisville (pronounced lewisville), Colorado. Chicago i s a close second though.

What do you usually eat for dinner? 

We don't have a regular dish we eat a lot of. We eat a lot of different things and many are dependent upon the season. I would say we eat a lot of pasta in our house. Different types of noodles like Angel Hair, Ravioli, Rigitoni, etc. We mix a lot of different vegetables into different sauces.

What is your favorite website?

Weather.com. I am a big weather geek. I always want to know what will happen over the next few days and when the next big snowstorm will come in for skiing purposes.

If you had to hear 1 album for the rest of your life what would it be?

Crosby, Stills and Nash. Self-titled album

What is your favorite movie?

The Outlaw Josey Wales

What do you do for $?

I am an Arborist. I basically take care of peoples trees.

What do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

Eyes and Butt, not exactly in that order it just depends on the butt or eyes

We own three dogs I think that answers that question

What would be on your list of stuff you can get if you were a famous rock star? (the list of stuff like beer, water, food)

Dark Chocolate, Good Scotch, Big fat Burritos

The Cubs

The really old crazy Daffy Duck.

Got any nick-names? What do they mean or how did you get them?

Batel. My parents started with Natel, then the went to Natel-Batel and then to just plain Batel

What is your salad dressing of choice?

None. Yes I am the non condiment freak. Yes I eat salads plain and I order all my hot dogs and burgers plain, unless the dog is a chili dog.

What is your favorite fast food place? What do you order there?

Qdoba. A Chicken Queso Burrito

What is your favorite booze beverage?

Scotch. More specifically Talisker

What is the one thing people say about you the most?

I hear from a lot of people that I am pretty easy going.

What do you think people say are some of your most virtuous qualities?

Honesty (I suck at lying just ask my Wife or Mother)

Coffee

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who don't use their turn signals.
