Yumm-o! Lettuce Entertain You opened yet another restaurant in the Oak Brook mall - in the location previously occupied by Papagus. The Reel Club is an upscale seafood restaurant. They have minimal choices of wine by the glass, but the Malbec is surprisingly delicious. You can choose either a 6 or 8 oz. pour for any wines by the glass and they offer flights as well. The restaurant is simply decorated, but classy, and the service was very friendly and accommodating. The calamari appetizer is spicy and good....as was my main course of Chilean Sea Bass. The crusted tilapia was pounded a bit too thin for my taste, so it was more breading than fish. There are many choices for surf and turf, which aren't priced as highly as you might think. After dinner, there are many coffee-drink choices, lattes and the such, and a FABULOUS chocolate pudding cake that is to die. A nice addition to Oak Brook Mall - somewhere to impress your clients or your parents....enjoy.
