Ang's grandma did this and we thought is was real cool and we wanted to do it also.

Our First Date Was: We met at a restaurant before a hockey game and didn't talk much but ran into each other about 8 months later at the Aragon Ballroom. We were there to see Boxcar Racer, a punk rock band. A week later we went on our first date to dinner at Rose Angelis near Z's apartment.

Our Ages When We Met: Z was 27, Ang was 31

Z lived: In a condo in Chicago

Ang lived: In a condo in Naperville with her roommate Sandy Denicholas

Z earned his living: making webpages for a phone company.

Ang earned her living: As a psycology teacher at Riverside Brookfield high school.

Z likes Ang because: We like doing the same stuff, we never run out of things to talk about, she is very generous, caring, and she is beautiful.

Ang likes Z because: We always laugh and have a great time. There's never a dull moment, we both enjoy planning lots of fun things to keep us busy. He is thoughtful, passionate, and handsome.

When we dated we liked to: Go to Cubs games, punk rock concerts, take trips, go out to dinner and out with friends.

Our courtship lasted: a little over 2 years

When we told our parents: They were both very thrilled. They both like us very much. We are very fortunate.

We became engaged: August 6, 2004 in Salt Lake City, UT

When Z proposed he said: "You are my life, You are the love of my life, I love you. Will you marry me?" (and then Z got down on one knee, this was followed by 10 seconds of silence - Ang was very surprised).

We will be married on: Saturday, April 2, 2005
